You’ve had a really interesting career to date working in the creative industries, becoming a leading wedding photographer and now a success coach. What has the journey been like for you and what inspired you to start your own company?
My whole life has really been the most incredible journey, sometimes I look back and it feels like a movie, with all the twists and turns, the highs and lows, and I am only half way through!
A teacher once said to me “Some sign up for the merry go round, and some sign up for the rollercoaster….and you definitely signed up for the rollercoaster!”
I always had a deep urge to create, burning inside of me, even as a child. I was a frequent winner of creative, art and writing competitions, and got my first rejection letter from a publisher aged just 9. However, coming from a family where I was the first to go to university, my parents encouraged me to take an academic path, and I reluctantly went to university to study for a degree in Psychology. During my 20’s, I briefly toyed with fashion styling, working at Marie Claire magazine, before creating a career in advertising as a media planner entirely by accident. It was the years of the dot com boom, the industry was full of smart, creative people, and it was a super fun time, although ultimately, I wasn’t fulfilled or happy and I wasn’t playing to my strengths.
Aged 28, after buying my first house in London, I leapt off the career ladder and followed my creative heart. I first studied interior architecture, before settling on my first love, photography. The path into weddings was purely serendipitous, and for a while I juggled a Masters in Photographic Studies with my new photography business. I then decided to go full time with my wedding photography business. It brought me personal fulfilment way beyond my expectations, a deep connection with love, and the chance to create meaningful creative work. I also worked towards my goal of buying a second home on the island of my dreams, Ibiza.
I thought of myself as more of an artist than an entrepreneur. When I experienced a series of personal losses, and a difficult time in my life, and my business hit a tough patch, I sought out a coach to help me get back on track.
Cue another pivotal point.
The coaching was so powerful for me that I ended up joining a year-long personal development and coaching training programme which my coach recommended. I applied my learnings to my photography business, and that got back on track. I improved my wealth consciousness, raised my rates, and secured my dream commission shooting for Martha Stewart Weddings magazine. I got to the end of that coaching programme with no intention of being a coach, but the Universe had other ideas. My teachers pushed me into completing my 100 hours coaching to qualify, I put my all into it in the last 8 weeks and was blown away by the results I achieved for my clients. I graduated with a fully-fledged coaching business and had my first 5 figure month as a coach. I knew something bigger than me was at work and I just couldn’t say no.
For the first year I juggled two businesses, and then focused on coaching in my 2nd year, hitting multiple 6 figures. But I discovered the journey wasn’t yet complete. In November 2016, I started waking at 4.44am and was called to channel messages into my journal. I was told I had to go train as a healer. I tried to resist the call, but as always, the Universe aligned and put my firmly on my divine life path.
I started my Theta Healing journey and went on to incorporate the modality into my coaching practice. It’s the most incredible tool and was the missing link for supporting my clients in the highest and best way for the fastest results.
My practice grew from supporting other wedding photographers to wedding businesses, to all kinds of creative businesses from fashion design, to product design, filmmakers and event planners. Also women looking to make the leap from corporate to entrepreneurship, wellbeing entrepreneurs and other coaches. Now I work with a unique mix of creatives, healers, coaches & entrepreneurs from all around the world through my Group Coaching Programme, Money Beautifully, designed to help you transform your negative money beliefs, and write a new story around money. Currently I have clients in Qatar, Brazil, all over Europe, Canada, the US, Australia, and more, so it’s truly an international business. I do a mix of business & life coaching and energy work to clear limiting beliefs. Every session is unique & I work very intuitively.
I think that when you look back at my interests as a child, all the signs were there, and it’s really been a journey into becoming more of myself. A journey back to myself is the way I like to see it. One of my favourite quotes is ‘True learning is really unlearning’, from a Course in Miracles, and as adults I think that we really need to undo all the conditioning & belief systems from society, childhood, genetics and even past lives, to come to the truth of who we really are. The more we can express than truth, and live in alignment with it, which includes creating a livelihood around it, the happier, more successful and abundant we will be with ease and grace.
What attracted you most to coaching?
The results I saw for my first coaching clients. I was blown away by the feedback. ‘Life changing’ is the most common phrase I hear from my private clients, and that makes it incredibly fulfilling as a job. We all want to make a difference in the world deep down, to feel that we matter, and our lives have a purpose. To do work that is meaningful and rewarding and changes lives gives my life a lot of meaning and purpose.
You work mainly with female entrepreneurs – what do you find are the most common blocks that women experience in the early stages of running a business?
I like to call these money blocks, because these blocks literally stop the money coming in. For early stage entrepreneurs some of the key ones are the fear of failure, worrying about what others think, low self-worth, a scarcity mindset, the fear of success and lack of confidence.
Why do so many women struggle with money?
Money is such a powerful subject. If a woman is disconnected from her true power, she will experience issues with money. Her journey into financial empowerment, is actually a journey into her own empowerment. When we work on rewriting old negative beliefs about money in my Money Beautifully Programme, we are actually working on so many different aspects of self. Self-worth, self-belief, beliefs about the world, about money, about work, about women and men, about what’s possible in life, about out limits, our soul’s purpose and the people we are here to help with our gifts.
As a coach you incorporate energy clearing into your work. Can you tell me a bit more about how this works and why it is so successful for your clients?
We are all spiritual beings on a human journey. It’s not the first time we’ve been here! The energy clearing works on the subconscious mind, which is where 95% of our beliefs are stored. When we clear negative subconscious programming, we become able to manifest more easily everything we desire, because the barriers to receiving are removed and we become more aligned with our true purpose.
Whether it’s childhood programming, genetic beliefs in our DNA (belief systems are passed down in the DNA from our parents and ancestors), or conditioning from society and the collective consciousness, our minds are filled with all kinds of unhelpful programming, which prevents us getting the results we are aiming for in life and business. These corrupted programs simply hold us back, but the best thing is that they can be changed! Our beliefs create our thoughts, and our thoughts create our actions, so when we change the belief systems, we really are creating the ability to create new actions easily and naturally. New actions will create new improved results. You do not have to accept feeling bad, lacking confidence, feeling ashamed, lost, struggle financially or underperform and underachieve. It is possible to change anything. The energy work I practice is the fastest easiest way I have found to change belief systems. It sure beats doing years of affirmations in front of the mirror!
Do you think investing in self-development is particularly beneficial for entrepreneurs and business owners?
Self-development is important for everyone, but as an entrepreneur you ARE your business, so your business benefits directly from every investment you make in yourself. I have invested well over £120,000 in coaches, training and mentors and it’s been the best investment I have ever made. You get to learn from others who have gone before you, accelerate your progress and create your results faster and more easily.
Is travel a big part of your life?
Funnily enough, travel isn’t actually a big passion of mine. Rather like many things in life, it’s something I feel I have been called to do, and I had to heed the calling (a bit like coaching, and then healing!). I started living between two locations, London and Ibiza, 7 years ago, and that first year I took over 60 flights. All my photography jobs involved getting on a plane, and then a couple of years later, I added in travelling to entrepreneurs events every few months all over the world. Suddenly travel had become my new normal. Now I just take on a few photography commissions per year for the love of it, in destination locations. Because I work over my laptop with coaching clients all over the world, I can work anywhere with good WIFI, so I am free to travel as I please. I’ve spent a month working in Miami to try out life there, a month in Bali and this year I went to Palma, Majorca for a change of scenery and to write my new programme Money Beautifully. I have packing spreadsheets for different locations and I’m a packing ninja!
Do you have a specific morning routine that works really well for you that you can share?
My portable morning routine
Hot water with lemon
15 mins meditation
Green juice (low fruit content, currently loving Press London)
30 mins yoga at home. I love the Daily Yoga App
Shower, hair, make up and I always take time to dress well because it raises my vibration
Healthy protein heavy breakfast
Plan day ahead
Then, and only then, do I switch my phone on when I go to my desk. If I’m travelling, I always take my yoga mat and some lemon essential oil.
I can do this routine from anywhere.
What advice would you give to someone who is looking to work with a coach but isn’t sure if it’s right for them?
See who you are drawn to intuitively, explore their free content and see what resonates. The shortlist 2/3 – speak with them, and then trust your intuition. There’s a higher voice inside you, let it guide you. Also remember it’s normal to feel the fear, that mix of fear and excitement indicates you are on the edge of a breakthrough.

• Know you are a Co-Creator and don’t forget to ask the Universe/God for answers. There is a spiritual support team waiting to help you out with your soul’s journey.
