Paris was recently ranked the 9th best city in the world for female entrepreneurs. Statistics from Paris Pionnières, the tech incubator for women, in collaboration with Start Her, the non-profit organisation that supports women in technology and entrepreneurship, suggest the city is now the European capital of start-ups led by women. Increased government support for entrepreneurs is making France an attractive option for women looking to launch a new business idea. Several networks and meet ups exist to provide support and inspiration from other female founders.
